In the 1960s, Gerhard Kromschröder worked as a local reporter in Emsland and captured the rough beauty of the region with his camera. In 2011, he went back to Emsland.
A short while ago, the pictures of these two ‘expeditions’ were published in two photo books - not to the satisfaction of the local tourist association that wished to see a more positive view of the region.
