Here’s the email containing the good news I received a few days ago:
"Hello. What a joy to be with you again. This is not our new site, this is a newsletter to keep in touch with you. Our new site, The eye of Photography, is under construction. It will be built on a new solid foundation and a viable business strategy. We will use this blog to keep you informed each day.
A month ago within hours that followed the closure, hundreds of emails, phone calls, and messages testified of your disappointment. This is what motivated us to act. From now until the new platform go public, the whole team decided to offer their personal favorite picture with a short text on what is happening in the world of photography. This blog will have the same spirit as our previous journal: diversified, cosmopolitan, global and without prejudice.
Our goal is to highlight Paris Photo with a richer, more engaged daily! But for now it’s just the pleasure of being with you again.
PS: The financial owner of Le Journal de la Photographie has closed the site and disconnected us of all access, we give you here the new emails of our staff members and the naturally free subscription. Our blog is daily and our newsletter is weekly, until the opening of new website.
